Crusher

Prepares Material for Rasping · Adjustable Gap · Robust Construction

Crusher

The CR Series Crusher performs the critical first-stage size reduction of whole roots and tubers before fine grinding in the rasper. By reducing material to uniform chips, it dramatically increases the rasper's efficiency and extends saw blade life. Under-sizing or inconsistent crushing directly reduces starch yield and increases power consumption downstream.

Key Features:

  • High Throughput Capacity: Engineered with a large-diameter rotor and optimized feed opening to process up to 20+ tons per hour (model-dependent), keeping pace with the highest-capacity production lines.

→ A properly sized crusher prevents bottlenecks at the front of your line. Matching crusher capacity to rasper capacity is the first rule of line balancing.

  • Adjustable Crushing Gap: The gap between rotor and stationary anvil can be precisely adjusted to control final chip size (typically 20-50mm), enabling operators to optimize particle size for different raw material varieties and seasonal conditions.
  • Heavy-Duty Rotor & Hammers: The rotor assembly is constructed from high-strength alloy steel with replaceable wear-resistant hammer tips. This design withstands the impact forces of continuous heavy-duty operation while maintaining dimensional stability.

→ Premium hammer material means fewer replacements over the season. Our wear-resistant hammers last 2-3x longer than standard carbon steel equivalents.

  • Easy Maintenance Access: The housing features large hinged doors on both sides for quick inspection and hammer replacement. Typical hammer change time is under 30 minutes with basic hand tools.
  • Low Power Consumption per Ton: The optimized crushing geometry and balanced rotor design minimize specific energy consumption, typically 3-5 kWh per ton of throughput, depending on raw material hardness.
